Dental clinic

Set up tooth charting, dental sittings, treatment plans, prescriptions and bills for a dental practice.

Who can do this: Owner/Super Admin for setup (settings.manage, branches.manage, services.manage, users.manage); Receptionist for front desk (patient.create, appointment.manage, queue.manage, billing.create); Practitioner for clinical work (encounter.write, rx.write, clinical.document.sign). Where: Settings (/app/system-settings), Branches (/app/branches), Services (/app/services), Employees (/app/employees), Patients (/app/patients), Queue (/app/queue) or Appointments (/app/appointments), Clinical Documents (/app/clinical-documents), Billing (/app/billing).

Who it is for and plan fit

  • Dentists, dental assistants and front desk teams.
  • Use Clinic ₹499/month for one dental clinic or Polyclinic ₹1,499/branch/month when dental is a department.

Before you start

  • Dental procedure fee list and common materials.
  • Preferred tooth numbering: FDI or Universal; the tooth-chart widget supports both.
  • Consent text for extractions, RCT, implants or procedures.
  • Policy for per-sitting or upfront treatment-plan billing.

  7. Issue a walk-in token from Queue (/app/queue) or book from Appointments (/app/appointments/book). Result: the practitioner can open the visit.
  8. Start the encounter workspace (/app/patients/:patientId/encounters/:encounterId), record vitals where relevant and save notes. Result: the encounter is in the timeline.
  9. Use the Rx pad in the encounter, save and print/share the prescription. Result: Rx is available for print and portal sharing.

  12. Share Rx, clinical document or bill from print/share or WhatsApp Inbox (/app/whatsapp-inbox). Result: the patient receives the selected PDF or link.
note

  • Use queue prefix DEN; add chair departments only if front desk calls chair-wise.
  • In the dental exam choose FDI or Universal and permanent, primary or mixed dentition.
  • Bill taxable consumables/products separately from GST-exempt dental treatment services.
  • Save favourite analgesic, antibiotic and mouthwash Rx sets after doctor review.
