Facilities & departments
Facilities are called branches in the current app. Use them for clinic locations, OPD counters, therapy centres or home-care operating bases.
Who can do this: Owner (Super Admin) with branches.manage and settings.manage.
Where: Admin → Branch Management (/app/branches), Queue Displays & Check-in (/app/queue/settings) and System Settings (/app/system-settings).
Before you start
- Decide the public name and address of each facility.
- Keep phone, email, pincode, manager name/contact and map link ready.
- Decide which departments should appear as queue lanes.
- Decide the clinical facility preset and specialties.
Add a facility branch
- Open Branch Management.
- Click Add New Branch.
- Enter Branch name, Address, City, State, Pincode, Phone and Email.
- Optionally enter Manager name, Manager contact and Map URL.
- Save. Result: The page shows a branch card with Active status and a generated branch ID.
Edit or deactivate a branch
- Click Edit Branch.
- Update contact/address details and save. Result: Branch updated successfully! is shown.
- Use the active toggle. Result: The card changes between Active and Inactive.
Only Super Admin can open this screen today. Other users see Access denied. Only SUPER_ADMIN can manage branches.
Set organisation and branch details
- Open System Settings and unlock settings if asked.
- On Organisation, fill Global Settings: Organisation Name, Tagline / Description, Registration Number, website/social links and Clinic Logo.
- Select the branch under Branch Settings.
- Fill Primary Phone, Secondary Phone, WhatsApp Number, Contact Email, address, timings, map link and UPI ID.
- Click Save Global Settings or Save Branch Settings. Result: Printed bills, letterpads and patient-facing details use these values.
The System Settings page stores organisation identity, logo, contact details, timings, map link and UPI details. Duplicate policy and UHID prefix are provisioned by R1 onboarding; they are not editable on this screen in this worktree.
